Asgard beyond reserves the right to change, alter or cancel tours and itineraries due to weather-related or any outside related reason. Flexibility is our priority as well as our guest safety and for a variety of reasons the trip can be altered because of weather-related issues, road conditions, route conditions, physical reasons, and others. If we encounter unexpected events, we focus on alternative arrangements to deliver the professional lifetime experience our guests expect.

NOTE:
Day trips are not confirmed until fully paid for upon booking and a confirmation email has been received by the recipient.

Multi-day tours are not confirmed until a 20% confirmation fee has been paid and a confirmation email has been received by the recipient. The later 80% of final payment should be arranged within 42 days (6 weeks) before the trip departure.

Asgard-Beyond is bound to confirm guides, transportation and organize logistics for all trips well before the actual departure, due to this and administrative work, full refunds are limited to a time scale (see below). Reimbursements and cancellations should all be done in writing via e-mail from the person who booked the trip and he/she will be reimbursed within a working week to the same credit card that was used for the purchase.

In case of a no-show on any of our trips, refunds will not be made.

Day tours with a deposit option to secure a seat on the tour:
The deposit is none refundable. For cancellations with more than 48 hrs notice before departure, Asgard withholds the deposit and refunds the remaining balance.

Cancellations with more than 42 days before departure leaves you with an 80% refund of multi-day tours. 20% is non-refundable, due to the fact that arrangements have already been made for you on the trip.

Cancellations with less than 42 days before departure leaves you with a 50% refund. 50% is non-refundable, due to the fact that arrangements have already been made for you on the trip.

Cancellations with less than 72hrs notice are non-refundable.

Cancellations with more than 14 days before departure leaves you with the opportunity of an 80% refund of all day trips. 20% administration fee is non-refundable.

Cancellations with more than 7 days before departure leaves you with a 50% refund of all day trips. 50% is non-refundable, due to the fact that arrangements have already been made for you on the trip/course.

Cancellations with more than 2 days before departure leaves you with a 20% refund of all day trips / courses. 80% is non-refundable, due to the fact that we have committed a full payment to your guide/instructor.

Cancellations with less than 48hrs notice are non-refundable.

Confirmation deposit to reserve a seat on multi-day tours outside of Iceland is 20% of the total tour price, and is none refundable.

100% of the value of the tour is refunded if cancelled 60 days or more, prior the daparture date.

75% of the value of the tour is refunded if cancelled 30 – 59 days prior the departure date.

50% of the value of the tour is refunded if cancelled 16 – 29 days prior to the departure date.

25% of the value of the tour is refunded if cancelled 3-15 prior to the departure date.

0% of the value of the tour is refunded if cancelled 2 days or less prior to the departure date.

Due to unexpected weather changes that we can experience in the northern hemisphere, adding increased risk, tour cancellations can occur. The decision is always made with your and our guides safety in mind. This being said, we watch closely road, mountain and snow conditions to maximize your safety.

Adequate travel insurance is of extreme importance to all adventure travelers. We strongly recommend that you invest in travel insurance that covers your cost if you experience cancellations are at short notice, property damage, theft, or injuries. Asgard-Beyond does not accept any losses or expenses due to unexpected delays, change of flights, sickness, accidents or other causes. Neither does Asgard-Beyond assume responsibility for accidents or death that can be traced to the participant’s negligence.

Asgard-Beyond and their guides reserve the right to prohibit any client to participate in any trip or course if any clue shows that the person is under the influence of ANY illegal drug and/or alcohol. Zero tolerance is taken to any illegal drugs or alcohol. If there is any inappropriate behavior on participants behalf that can upset or put other participants at risk, guides can terminate the participation and full cancellation charges apply.

All personal clothing should be appropriate and not increase the level of risk for the participant and/or group. Information on appropriate clothing will be sent to you as soon as you get in contact with your guide for your trip. Please contact us for the equipment list for your trip.

Mountain and adventure sports require participants to be physically fit enough to safely obtain the objectives of each trip. Depending on the trip, the physical fitness varies and information on the skills required is listed in all trip descriptions on this webpage.

All prices are in ISK an all invoices are in ISK (Icelandic Krona).

If requests are in any other billing currency, Asgard-Beyond reserves the right to add an exchange surcharge to the package price before the final payment has been made in case of any currency fluctuations. After the final payment has been made no surcharges will be applicable.
